Top Withins

Top Withins - High Moorland
Top Withins, the ruined farmhouse on Haworth moor. It is suggested that this was the inspiration for the Earnshaw home in Emily Brontës 'Wuthering Heights', but the house bears no resemblance to the dwelling in the book. Nevertheless, many people make the pilgrimage to the ruin, and it's remoteness on the beautiful moors is an extra reason to visit.
